GREEN SUMMIT for YOUTH

Please join the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board in exploring the emerging green workforce economy and discover how tomorrow’s future workplace will impact you.

At the summit you will learn about the various fields of environmental study from local colleges and universities, meet business leaders that are working to generate new “green-collar” jobs, and see how environmentally conscious community based organizations are working with youth to make changes locally. Learn how your
lifestyle impacts the environment and what small changes you can make that can make a big difference in sustaining our environment.

The event will feature several exhibits with interactive displays, giveaways and youth program information. Students, ask your science instructor how you can earn extra-credit for attending the summit.
