Who Should Apply
All community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, for-profit organizations and other entities whose main mission is to serve Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals are encouraged to apply. We seek providers who offer services in the languages spoken by Milwaukee County jobseekers of Eastern European, Russian, African, Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent.
A request for services is an opportunity for community-based, faith-based and for-profit organizations serving LEP individuals to receive referrals from the WIA program in order to provide case management services. Successful respondents will become eligible to receive referrals. Inclusion on the list does not guarantee whether or how many referrals will be made, since referrals are based in customer need and the best use of WIA resources.
