Youth Services
Employers, who will provide meaningful career and employment opportunities for youth (age 14-21) in Milwaukee County.

Adult Programs
Organizations to provide case management, job placement and follow-up services to Milwaukee County residents, consistent with the intentions of
the Workforce Investment Act WIA).

Adult Programs, LEP
Organizations who assist Limited English Proficient (LEP) residents of Milwaukee County can help those who qualify for WIA services, to prepare for the job market and secure employment.

Intensive Services
Service providers to deliver a wide range of supportive services to
Milwaukee County residents. These supportive services, under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) include and are not limited to: GED/HSED, literacy/ESL, AODA, mental health, childcare, and legal services.

Customized Skill Training
Employers who seek to meet their workforce needs in a specialized skill
area through a custom-designed training program, which in turn benefits the job seeker.

On-The-Job Training
Employers who seek to hire workers and will train them on-the-job.

New Programs
Periodically the Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board is awarded a special grant to implement a new workforce development program.
