For employers who are anticipating the need to downsize, restructure or close, the HIRE Center provides assistance in helping the affected workers make the transition to new employment. The HIRE Center and the State Department of Workforce Development partner to provide Rapid Response intervention aimed at informing the employer and the impacted workers about the publicly available resources available under the Dislocated Worker Program. Typically, a Rapid Response team will provide on-site orientations to deal with questions regarding Unemployment Insurance, retraining and reemployment services.
