LIMITED ENGLISH SERVICES

For someone who is having trouble finding a job because English is not their primary language, we can provide a referral to organizations in our community that can be of help. There are eligibility requirements that can be explained to you. We can link individuals to services in the languages spoken by Milwaukee County jobseekers of Eastern European, Russian, African, Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent.

Many Job Center staff members are bilingual, fluent in a variety of languages such as Spanish, Hmong and Laotian. Translation services are available and many materials are available in these languages. Not every Job Center can provide services in a particular language. Call ahead to see which Job Center location is best.
